Description
These practice exams allow you to practise the Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 written examinations: the General Written Examination and the Engineering, Materials and Components (EMC) Specific Examination.
The practice exams can be done by specific topic or as an entire exam simulation:
- Two General Written sample exams (40 questions each; the first untimed, the second timed at 80 minutes)
- EMC Specific sample exam (50 questions, 2½ hours, code document provided)
- Code questions with the code document (MIL-STD-1949)
- EMC topic tests: materials, processes and discontinuities, and applications and techniques
- Three topic quizzes and three additional practice quizzes, untimed
- Coil formula sheet provided where calculations are needed
The practice exams consist of 233 unique multiple-choice questions with feedback explaining the correct answer.
Questions are not taken directly from the certification exams.
The exam scheme is in accordance with CAN/CGSB-48.9712.
